Past Master, Adrian J Scott Knight

Past Master, Adrian J Scott Knight was installed as Master Fletcher April 2015. 

Adrian Scott Knight has been a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fletchers since 1997.  He has recently been Chairman of Finance.

 In the early part of his career, Adrian worked for stockbrokers Vickers da Costa and from 1965 to 1973 worked on the trading floor of the London Stock Exchange becoming a Member during this time.  By the late seventies he was head of the firm’s gilt edged department that specialised in foreign institutions, particularly Japanese Insurance companies.  At the time of ‘Big Bang’, the firm was bought by Citicorp and Adrian was briefly a vice-president of Citicorp Investment Bank before making a career change to private clients.  In 2005 he retired as investment director of Rathbone Investment Management.

He and his wife Nicky, who is a founder member of a global software company, had four children and now have six grandchildren.

Outside the family, Adrian’s main interests are skiing and hockey.  Along with three others, he founded the Stock Exchange Ski Club in 1968.  He is a past President and remains on the committee.  The Club continues to thrive and Adrian skis with them every year.  Adrian has played at Southgate Hockey Club since he was a teenager.  He has been President and Treasurer and he still plays for the club’s senior veteran team.  He and Nicky also have a side interest in horse racing.

Adrian has been a member of the Bridge Ward Club since 1973
