Update 25/2/2024

Grant to Debbie Young:

The Trust were delighted to receive an update from Debbie Young, following receipt of a grant for  a new compound bow in December 2023. Debbie, competed in the recent Inclusion Shoot at Deer Park Archers, where she achieved a very creditable second place, shared the following:

Can I say a big thank you for my grant, which has helped me so much that I have increased my scores significantly. I shot a Double Portsmouth Round at the Deer Park inclusion shoot and was very proud to have come second. It is possible that this may be a UK record – confirmation is awaited. I never thought I would ever hold a record in my shooting!

Debbie also advised that she has the support of the Royal Navy to configure her new shooting stool, also received through a grant from The Fletchers’ Trust
