City and Livery Committee’s Garden of Remembrance Service

The Master. Anne Curry, was delighted to be alongside over 200 Livery Masters and Clerks, and Lord Mayor William Russell, at the City and Livery Committee’s Garden of Remembrance Service in the Garden of St Pauls Cathedral on 8 November.

We all gathered at Plaisterers’ Hall. After a speech by the Royal British Legion President, General James Bashall, we were ‘organised into processional order’ by RSM, Honourable Artillery Co. RHQ. WO1 David Davies, and our wonderful ‘Brace of Beadles’.

We then processed to St Pauls with 12 RBL Standard Bearers at our head, to be greeted by choirs and CCF from local schools.

Each master planted a cross on behalf of their Company in a special field of remembrance.
