The WCF is delighted to welcome as its new clerk Lt Col Deborah (Debs) Taylor who took up her post on 11 April 2022.

Debs was commissioned in 1997 into the Royal Logistic Corps.  She spent her early career in a number of roles including command at both Troop and Squadron level, policy design and implementation, assurance and strategic planning.  She served in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Iraq, and has also been involved in operational training areas including Afghanistan, Canada, Belize and Kenya.

Debs left the Regular Army in 2015 and began a career with the Army Reserve which included a role at RMA in Army Engagement, working with stakeholders across the spectrum of civil society including education, industry, charity and not-for profit organisations.  As the result she was awarded a Women in Defence Award in 2018. She is still involved in Reserve activity.
