Mark Wilde

Mark Wilde is a Scottish tenor has performed many tenor operatic roles, including Ferrando (Cosi fan Tutte) at Glyndebourne and Welsh National Opera, and has appeared at all the major opera festivals in the UK. He has a particularly close relationship with English Touring Opera for whom he has sung Albert Herring and several other roles. His recording as Monsieur in Sir Malcolm Arnold's The Dancing Master with the BBC Concert Orchestra received many accolodes including Best Opera Recording of 2020. His recordings included Britten, Complete Scottish Songs (Naxos), Handel, Ode for St Cecilia's Day (Naxos), Rossini Songs (Opera Rara), Sullivan, The Prodigal Son and The Golden Legend (Hyperion). David Owen Norris

Professor David Owen Norris, is a renowned pianist and composer, Professor of the Royal College as well as the Royal Northern College of Music, as well as Head of Classical Performance at the University of Southampton. He graduated at Oxford as an organ scholar and has given concerts all over the world and made many recordings as soloist and accompanist, as well as being a regular broadcaster on radio and TV. He is a specialist in Elgar as well as early piano music. With the release earlier in 2021 of his latest double CD on the Chandos label (‘Sullivan Songs & Ballads’ (CHAN10935) with Mary Bevan, Ben Johnson, Ashley Riches, and ‘The Harmonious Echo’ (CHAN20239, with the same singers, joined by Kitty Whately), his recorded survey of all Sir Arthur Sullivan’s songs is now complete.
